The 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta ‘Competizione’ by Pinin Farina achieved a record €9,856,000 (US $ 12,812,800) at the RM Auctions sale at Villa Erbe in Italy in 2013. It is the highest price paid for a car at auction since 2011.
