RM Sotheby’s announced a Lamborghini Reventon for a new Munich classic car auction in Germany in November 2022.
RM Sotheby’s will return to the German market with a classic car auction at the end of November held in Munich, Bavaria. The current planning is to make the sale an annual event. The first car announced for the auction, which will include around 60 vehicles, is a rare 2007 Lamborghini Reventon Coupe.
RM Sotheby’s Munich 2022 Classic Car Auction Announced
RM Sotheby’s announced a return to the German market with an all-new sale in the surroundings of Motorworld in Munich. The sale will become an annual fixture in the European auction calendar, expanding RM Sotheby’s footprint back into Germany with a high-quality sale in what is unquestionably one of Europe’s most important markets for collectable cars. The preview and sale will take place on 25-26 November 2022, at the start of the popular Advent and Christmas market season in Germany.
RM Sotheby’s continues to expand and develop its roster of live auctions in Europe, concentrating on key markets, partnering with leading events, and hosting sales in spectacular locations. Munich’s Motorworld, which describes itself as the city’s center of driving culture, lifestyle, and events, opened its doors to the public after twelve years of development and construction. Under its roof can be found a range of exclusive car brands, automotive service providers, and workshops, as well as shops, restaurants, a hotel, and a host of businesses of interest to car lovers. Developed on a site that was the former railway repair shop in Munich-Freimann, the spectacular building is the perfect location for an auction.

Lamborghini Reventon at RM Sotheby’s Munich Sale 2022
An early highlight for the RM Sotheby’s Munich 2022 sale is an exotic and extremely rare 2007 Lamborghini Reventon, one of only 20 cars delivered to customers. The Reventon is one of the most extreme cars ever produced by Lamborghini, boasting a 6.5 litre, 12-cylinder engine that propels the car to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 330 km/h. The example offered in Munich is finished in Mid Opaque Grey and is presented in ‘as new condition’, having covered a mere 102 km.
RM Sotheby’s has sold two Reventon coupes at public auction: the highest result was $1,375,000 achieved at RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2015 while the most recent sale was $1,320,000 at RM Sotheby’s Arizona 2017. Bonhams sold a 2010 Lamborghini Reventon Roadster for $1,968,501 at Bonmont 2019 in Switzerland — the sale in which a 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster sold for a marque-record $8,337,182.
