The 1968 factory Porsche 907 (lot 203) achieved the highest price in today’s sale, changing hands for 4 390 400 € including premium. This important competition car with superb provenance, including three participations at Le Mans had been in the same ownership for the last 40 years.
Jonny Hallyday’s most famous motorbike attracted a huge cheer as the vendor rode it into the saleroom. The 1990 Harley Davidson Softail Heritage, known as “Laura Eyes” (lot 187) that had starred with Jonny on stage, enjoyed being in the spotlight again tonight, finding a new owner for the impressive sum of 470 840 €. The vendor has agreed to donate a proportion of the money to La Bonne Etoile, the charity set up by Hallyday’s wife, Laeticia.
