A 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS Teardrop “Goutte d’Eau” Coupe sold for $13,425,000 as the most expensive car in the Gooding Amelia Island 2022 classic car auction, the priciest car at all Amelia Island 2022 sales, and the most expensive car sold in 2022 thus far. The car set the new Talbot-Lago marque record and is also the most expensive French car ever sold at public auction (in nominal terms).
