A 2016 Ferrari LaFerrari sold for a record $7 million by RM Sotheby’s at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali charity sale in Daytona Beach, Florida. This sale of the 500th and final LaFerrari built set a new world record for the most-expensive 21st century car ever sold at public auction. The proceeds of the car, donated by Ferrari, will benefit earthquake victims in Central Italy.
