2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale

The most expensive car sold at the Broad Arrow Monterey 2025 sale was the 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale, which achieved a model record $5,202,500. This car is one of just 50 MC12 Stradale road cars built to homologate Maserati’s dominant FIA GT1 racer. The car on offer showed just over 11,500 kilometers.

The 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale was based on the Ferrari Enzo but was fitted with a competition-purpose body. Only 50 were ever produced compared to 400 Enzos. This result was over half a million dollars higher than the Enzo model record.

The only more expensive Maserati result ever was at the 2013 Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale when a 1955 Maserati 300S Sports Racing Spider sold for the marque-record $6,646,787.

2008 Koenigsegg CCXR

The 2008 Koenigsegg CCXR, one of just 11 examples built and merely three in the U.S, is a well-maintained car, which was upgraded throughout its life. This six-speed manual CCXR featured in the fifth Fast & Furious film.

1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer DLS

The 1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer DLS “Dynamics and Lightweight Study” is one of only 75 DLS commissions. The “Mame Commission” represents a rare and significant piece of modern automotive art. The DLS project sought to unlock the pinnacle of performance for the 964-generation Porsche 911 by employing an uncompromising approach to lightweight engineering.

The bespoke car was finished in custom Fluid Silver over an interior featuring Olive Green Suede, Black bead-blasted bright trim throughout, and visible Black tint satin carbon. Beneath the surface lies Singer’s 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine developed with Williams Advanced Engineering, producing 500 horsepower. It has only just over 250 miles on the clock.

  • The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, chassis number 09657, is one of only 330 factory-built 275 GTB/4s produced between 1966 and 1968. The matching numbers Berlinetta is finished in period-correct Giallo Fly over black leather.
  • The matching-numbers 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe, finished as originally specified in Silver Grey Metallic over a Blue interior with plaid fabric seats, outperformed the two roadsters in the same auction.
  • Two 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso cars, including a Ferrari Classiche certified, matching-numbers example recently cosmetically restored in Grigio Argento over Rosso leather finishes and a matching-numbers, deep red example formerly owned by Late Show host and noted collector, David Letterman (the higher result).
  • The 1980 BMW M1 Procar achieved a new model record price, around half a million dollars higher than the just over a million euros paid for an M1 at Artcurial Paris Rétromobile 2024. It is one of around 54 M1 Procars built but never raced in period.
  • The 2022 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, one-of-40 track-only specials developed by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing division and styled by Centro Stile, was offered in unraced condition with delivery miles.
