RM Sotheby’s recorded 22 million-dollar results and several model sales records at the special Tailored for Speed Collection auction in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2025.
RM Sotheby’s had its best European auction ever when 42 cars were sold at the special Tailored for Speed Collection in Zurich. Seven cars sold for over $5 million with the most expensive car in the auction a 2024 Ferrari Daytona SP3 that achieved CHF 5,348,750. Several new world auction model records were set, including for three of Ferrari’s Corse Clienti XX Programme track cars.
RM Sotheby’s Zurich Sale 2025
RM Sotheby’s special Tailored for Speed Collection auction was held on 11 October 2025 at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zürich, Switzerland. The 42 rare and special supercars and track sold for a combined CHF69,672,120 (US $87 million), as the highest earning European auction ever for RM Sotheby’s.

Record Results at RM Sotheby’s Zurich Auction 2025
The Zurich auction was RM Sotheby’s highest-earning European auction ever. Four cars had exceeded CHF 5 million, with the top ten cars all exceeding CHF 2,000,000. Seven cars sold for over $5 million. Several cars set new world model auction records while all the top cars sold for very strong prices.
2024 Ferrari Daytona SP3
The most expensive car in the RM Sotheby’s Zurich 2025 auction was the 2024 Ferrari Daytona SP3, one of 600 produced. The LaFerrari-based, naturally aspirated V-12 hypercar sold for CHF 5,348,750 — the highest price ever paid for an SP3 in a regular auction. A 2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3 ‘Tailor Made’ sold, as a charity lot, for an extraordinary $26,000,000, as the most expensive car sold in the RM Monterey 2025 auction and the most expensive charity car ever sold.

A 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, offered in the rare colour combination of Bianco Italia metallic paint over Nero leather with Giallo accents, achieved CHF 5,292,500 ($6,653,200). One of the best results for the model ever.
The Tailored for Speed Collection was remarkable for featuring all three of Ferrari’s Corse Clienti XX Programme track machines. All three cars in this ‘XX Full Set’ set new auction records for the models:
- The 2016 Ferrari FXX K Evoluzione achieved CHF 5,236,250. Delivered new to The Tailored for Speed Collection and subsequently upgraded by Ferrari to Evoluzione specifications, it was presented in spectacular two-tone Blu Corsa Opaco with Nero Stellato Opaco accents.
- The 2008 Ferrari FXX Evo achieved CHF 4,055,000.
- The 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evo sold for CHF 2,761,250.
The 1998 Ferrari 333 SP also sold for a model record CHF 5,208,125. One of Ferrari’s most important sports racing cars of the past 50 years, this 333 SP was the overall winner of the 1999 Sports Racing World Cup rounds at Barcelona and Monza, as well as securing four further podiums, which combined to help JMB Giesse Racing claim the 1999 SR1 Teams’ title.
Other Top Results at RM Sotheby’s Zurich 2025 Auction
A 2021 Pagani Huayra Roadster BC sold for CHF4,476,875 ($5,566,000) — the first Huayra to achieve over $5 million at a public auction. It was the 33rd of 40 produced and was sold with only 253 km on the clock.
Two further Pagani’s also achieved top results:
- A 2024 Pagani Utopia sold for CHF3,267,500 — it’s been driven only 48 km.
- A 2022 Pagani Huayra R sold for CHF2,367,500. This track-only car was the 11th of only 30 produced and had only 470 km on the clock.
A 2023 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport sold for CHF4,055,000 — the second Chiron to achieve over $5 million at auction in October 2025. A 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ Coupe achieved a model record $5,725,000 at the Bonhams Audrain 2025 auction in early October.
