Janis Joplin’s 1964 Porsche 356 C 1600 SC Cabriole sold for a sensational $1,760,000 at the RM Sotheby’s 2015 New York Driven by Disruption sale. It set a new model record that is unlikely to be broken again for very long. The pre-auction estimate was $400-600,000.
