A 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 sold for $4,955,000 at auction in 2026, following a $3,690,000 million price in late 2025 for a 2021 Ferrari Monza SP1.

Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 auction prices surged in 2025 and 2026, with a 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 achieving a record $4,955,000. Despite only a handful of public sales, values for these ultra-rare Icona series Ferraris are already far above their original purchase prices. The highest price ever for a 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 was $4,955,000 paid at Broad Arrow Amelia 2026. The model record for the single-seater Monza SP1 is $3,690,000, achieved at RM Sotheby’s Zurich 2025. Ferrari produced only 499 Monza SP1 and SP2 cars in the Icona series between 2019 and 2022.

With fewer than ten public auction appearances, Ferrari Monza prices remain highly volatile. The sharp jump to nearly $5 million in 2026 reflects the rarity of low-mileage examples rather than a fully established market trend.

Ferrari Monza SP1 / SP2 Auction Price Trend

Only 499 of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 cars were ever produced, and these were only offered to existing clients of important Ferraris. Buyers of the Monza SP1 and SP2 were later invited to buy the Daytona SP3, and reportedly, all 499 clients took up that offer. Not surprisingly, very few of these cars have been offered at public auction.
The published results of major international car auctioneers show only five cars sold out of eight offered. Half of the Monza auction cars were handled by RM Sotheby’s.
Currently, the highest and lowest results are anchored by SP2 cars. However, the total number of cars offered at auction is still so small that it is impossible to determine whether the secondary market will prefer the single-seater or two-seat model.
The first 2019 Ferrari Monza SP1 auction sale was at RM Sotheby’s Villa Erba 2023 for $2.6 million (€2,423,750) for a car with only 26 km on the clock. A year later, a 1,903-km 2022 Monza SP1 failed to sell at RM Sotheby’s Munich 2025 (estimate: €3-3.5 million).

In 2025, RM Sotheby’s sold at least three of these Monza cars:
- A 2022 Ferrari Monza SP2 with 812 km achieved $2,536,250 at RM Sotheby’s Abu Dhabi 2025.
- A month earlier, a 78-km 2021 Ferrari Monza SP1 sold for almost $3.7 million (CHF 2,592,500) in Zurich. This Swiss car was finished in a custom shade of Rosso Deborah with Grigio nose section and Bianco accents over an interior featuring a single seat in Jeans Aunde Blu.
- A 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2, with 2,800 km (1,740 mi) on the clock and a striking dark blue with white accents bodywork, was sold in a private sale for an undisclosed amount.

Gooding Christie’s sold a 2021 Ferrari Monza SP1 for €2,480,000 ($3,028,080) at Paris Rétromobile 2026. This 215-km red car seemed to have surprisingly few special options. In euros, the price was hardly higher than the first auction SP1 sold two years earlier.
At Broad Arrow Amelia 2026, a 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 sold for a new model record $4,955,000. This American-based car showed only 16 miles. This car also didn’t appear particularly highly optioned.
Is this result, more than double the initial purchasing price five years ago, the breakout sale for the Monza? This is likely not yet a fully established market level. Limited-production Ferraris often see early headline results before prices stabilize, especially when only a handful of cars have been publicly traded, as is the case with the Monza.
However, the long term trend for high-end Ferrari prices is generally upwards — see, for example, Ferrari Enzo prices between 2015 and 2024, followed by a sharp increase at the start of 2026.
Ferrari Monza SP1 / SP2 Model History

The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 were the first car series announced in the Ferrari “Concetto Icona” program. These cars were inspired by previous Ferrari classics and were only offered to existing Ferrari owners.
The Monza speedster was inspired by the classic 1950s Ferrari 750 Monza, 166 MM, and 250 Testarossa that competed and won at the Mille Miglia, Le Mans, and Targa Florio. The windscreenless speedster was based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast.
The Monza was announced in 2018. Between 2019 and 2022, only 499 Monzas were produced, with the SP1 denoting single-seater cars, while the SP2 had two seats. The numbers produced of each version were not released.
The original price of the Ferrari Monza SP1 was between $1.6 and $2 million. As the buyers were all very loyal (and wealthy) Ferrari customers, it is believed that very few Monzas left the factory without major personalisation options.
Well-chosen options and unique colors for high-end Ferraris have traditionally paid off handsomely at later auctions. However, thus far, fewer than 2% of Monzas were offered at public auctions, and even private transactions appear fairly limited.
Ferrari Daytona SP3

The next car in the Ferrari Icona series was the Daytona SP3, unveiled in 2021, inspired by the 1967 Daytona race-winning Ferrari 330 P4. Reportedly, all 499 Monza owners acquired one, with the additional 100 going to select Ferrari clients. The base price was around $2.3 million.
A 600th SP3, the 2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3 ‘Tailor Made’, was produced and sold as a charity lot at RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2025 for $26,000,000 — the highest price ever paid for a new car and the highest price ever paid for a charity car lot in a public auction.
