New model records were also set for a Porsche 959 Sport and a Porsche 918 Spyder, as well as for a Ferrari Monza SP2 and a Ferrari F12tdf.

2003 Ferrari Enzo

The most expensive car sold in the Broad Arrow Amelia Island 2026 classic car auction was a 2003 Ferrari Enzo that achieved $15,185,000. This was the second-highest price ever paid for an Enzo at auction — the model record remains the $17,875,000 paid at Mecum Kissimmee 2026.

This 2003 Ferrari Enzo is a rare Nero DS car and thus far the only black Enzo to sell for over $5 million at auction. It was a single-owner US specification Enzo with only 450 miles on the clock.

Other top Ferrari results included two new model records:

  • 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 for $4,955,000
  • 2017 Ferrari F12tdf for $4,185,000

Note:

In 2015, a 2005 Ferrari Enzo (originally owned by the Pope) sold for a model record of $6 million. It took eleven years for the second Enzo result to exceed $5 million, and then it happened four times in one month in January 2026.

Next Enzos to test the market:

  • a high-mileage (almost 12,000 miles!), silver 2004 Ferrari Enzo, estimate $5,340,000 – $5,8000, at RM Sotheby’s Monaco 2026 (25 April).
  • a 3,025-mile, titanium-grey 2003 Ferrari Enzo at Mecum Indy 2026 (16 May).

2021 Ferrari Monza SP2 sold for a new model record $4,955,000. This American-based car showed only 16 miles. This car also didn’t appear particularly highly optioned compared to many of the other 499 Icona series cars. The result was double the original list price and over a million dollars more than the previous record holder.

Several popular Porsche models were among the most expensive cars sold at the Broad Arrow Amelia Island 2026 classic car auction. Many set net world auction records for the models.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT

Most Expensive 2005 Porsche Carrera GT Sold for $6,715,000 at Amelia Island 2026 (© Broad Arrow Auctions)

A 2005 Porsche Carrera GT sold for a sensational new world auction model record $6,715,000. Although far cheaper than its contemporary, the 2003 Ferrari Enzo, this result was the more surprising.

This result more than doubled the previous 2005 Porsche Carrera GT model record of $3,305,000, which was set only a week earlier at RM Sotheby’s Miami 2026. Although four Carrera GTs have sold for over $3 million thus far in 2026, less than three months ago, the Porsche Carrera GT model record was only $2,200,000 since the 2022 Mecum Glendale auction.

The new model-record Porsche Carrera GT is a rare paint-to-sample car and the only one ever specified in Gulf Blue. It is one of the 644 US-specification cars, out of 1270 produced. It was sold with 2,807 miles on the clock.

Although the baby blue color is unique, it is worth noting that similar money would have bought around four grey or silver Porsche Carrera GTs in 2025.

1988 Porsche 959 Sport

A 1988 Porsche 959 Sport sold for $5,505,000 as the most expensive regular 959 ever sold at public auction. It is the first non-competition Porsche 959 to sell for more than $5 million. It is one of only 29 US-market lightweight Sport models and was one of the eight originally imported into the US by Porsche Motorsport. The Grand Prix White over a Dark Grey Metallic leather and cloth interior was sold, showing only 11,593 miles.

The result came close to the $5,945,000 paid for a 1985 Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar at the RM Sotheby’s Porsche Atlanta single-marque sale in 2018. This was the first time ever that a 959 Paris-Dakar was offered for sale at public auction, and it promptly tripled the then model record for a 959 sold at auction.

A 1988 Porsche 959 SC Reimagined by Canepa was sold post-hammer for an undisclosed sum. It was advertised as “Asking $3,250,000” shortly after the auction but the final results ranking hints at a price below $3 million.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

A 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder set a new model auction record for a non-Weissach option car at $2,975,000. It was one of 300 US-specification models and finished in Rhodium Silver Metallic with a Garnet Red leather interior with Silver piping. It has done only 352 miles.

Most Expensive Lamborghini Miura P400 SV Ever

A new model record was set for a blue 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV at $6,605,000.

A new model record was set for a 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV at $6,605,000. It is the second-highest price ever paid for a Lamborghini at public auction — only the 2014 Lamborghini Veneno Roadster at $8,337,182 sold at Bonhams Bonmont 2019 in Switzerland ever achieved more.

The record 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV is largely original, unmodified, and unrestored with less than 18,300 miles from new. (The color was changed from metallic silver to the current Blue Notte in the 1970s.) It is one of only 13 “split-sump” U.S.-market examples with factory air conditioning.

A white 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 sold in the same sale for a very strong $2,500,000 — the presale estimate was $1.5 million.

During the same weekend, an orange 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400 S set a new record for the Miura P400 S model, selling for $2,590,000 at Gooding Christie’s Amelia Island 2026.
