Top Results at Bonhams Audrain Sale 2025
The most expensive car in the Bonhams Audrain 2025 auction was the 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ Coupe, which realised a model-record $5,725,000. Widely regarded as the fastest hyper sports car Bugatti has ever produced, the Chiron Super Sport 300+ is one of only 30 examples built and represents the marque’s final purely petrol-powered supercar.
This was just the second time the model has been publicly offered at auction in the U.S. The previous sale also resulted in a model record when a 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ Coupe sold for $5,175,000 as the highest result at the Bonhams Scottsdale 2024 classic car auction.
Whitney Maxwell, Bonhams|Cars Managing Director, commented: “Together, the Audrain and Quail auctions closed 2025 on a high note for Bonhams|Cars in the United States, underscoring the company’s success in offering landmark collections and modern supercars. With Bugatti sales leading both events, it was truly a “Bugatti season” for Bonhams|Cars.”
The second-most expensive car in the sale was a 1909 Rolls-Royce 40/50hp Silver Ghost Roi des Belges Tourer, which achieved $621,000. This stunning ‘parallel bonnet’ Silver Ghost is one of the few surviving examples of the model that established Rolls-Royce as a household name. Restored by marque experts, it earned top honours, including Best Silver Ghost and Quietest Silver Ghost at the 2024 Rolls-Royce Owners Club National Meet, along with multiple Best of Show awards at premier concours events throughout New England.
