Gooding & Company sold this 1956 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing for $1,9 million at the Scottsdale 2014 auction. This Mercedes was a barn find in original, unrestored condition. It sold for nearly half a million dollars more than a similar 1956 Gullwing in concourse condition also offered by Gooding & Co. In total, 8 Mercedes Benz 300 SLs sold for over a million dollars during the Scottsdale and Arizona week.
