RM Sotheby’s announced its first auction ever in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, for March 2024. Early lead cars include a rare 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR (Estimate: $2,800,000 – $3,400,000) — only a handful of cars from the marque has ever been offered for sale in a public auction. Further early supercars announced include a 2014 McLaren P1 and a 2019 McLaren Senna.

2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR
The early lead cars announced for the RM Sotheby’s Dubai 2024 collector car auction include a rare one-of-three 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR, (Estimate: $2,800,000 – $3,400,000). With just 500 kilometers on the odometer and one owner from new, this example is a special version of the already incredible Agera RS. It boasts numerous upgrades to the Agera RS, which includes a removable roof, an upgraded rear wing, carbon wheels, and bespoke paint. Powered by the awesome 5.0 V-8 that produces an astonishing 1,160 horsepower, the car delivers 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds with a claimed top speed of 447 km/h.
Koenigseggs are very rare and seldom reach public auction. Only a handful has ever been offered for sale with the marque record $4,631,767 paid for a 2015 Koenigsegg One:1 at the Bonhams Bonmont 2019 sale. A 2014 Koenigsegg Agera R sold for $1,356,250 at RM Sotheby’s Abu Dhabi 2019.
McLaren Hypercars at RM Sotheby’s Dubai 2024
Two modern McLaren supercars are among the early cars announced for RM Sotheby’s Dubai 2024:
- The 2014 McLaren P1 is presented in the striking shades of Mercury Red over Harissa Red. It has a relatively high 7,000 km on the clock but only one owner from new. This example also benefits from a recent battery replacement and is estimated at $950,000 – $1,250,000.
- The second McLaren on offer in Dubai is the 2019 McLaren Senna, presented in Amazon Colourstream over blue.
