Top Ferrari Results at Gooding Christie’s Paris Rétromobile 2026 Sale

Modern hypercar Ferraris, including the Enzo, F50, and 288 GTO, sold for incredible new records and high prices at the Mecum Kissimmee, RM Sotheby’s Arizona, and RM Sotheby’s Paris auctions in January 2026. While Gooding Christie’s most expensive Ferraris failed to sell in the Paris Rétromobile auction — the classic 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta and Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider — the few modern Ferraris in the auction promptly set new model records.
1984 Ferrari 288 GTO — New Model Record

The 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO sold for a new model record €9,117,500 ($11,132,468) as the most expensive car at the Gooding Christie’s Rétromobile Paris 2026 classic car auction. The result increased the 288 GTO model record for the second time in a month. It is only the third 288 GTO to have sold for more than $5 million and the first ever to breach the $10 million mark.
The record 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO with coachwork by Scaglietti is a two-owner, German registration car. It was exceptionally well preserved and offered from over 30 years of single-family ownership. It had only 1,500 km (932 miles) on the clock.
Top Ferrari 288 GTO Prices at Auction (1984-2026)
All Ferrari 288 prices paid at public auction exceeding $5 million:
| R | Year | Car | Price ($) | Auctioneer | Auction | Year |
| 1 | 1984 | Ferrari 288 GTO | 11,132,468 | Gooding Christie’s | Paris | 2026 |
| 2 | 1985 | Ferrari 288 GTO | 8,525,000 | Mecum | Kissimmee | 2026 |
| 3 | 1985 | Ferrari 288 GTO | 7,148,955 | RM Sotheby’s | Paris | 2026 |
Only three Ferrari 288 GTO cars had ever sold for more the $5 million at auction — all in January 2026. Only 272 cars were produced, making it the rarest of modern Ferrari hypercars.

Ferrari FXX Evo — Model Record

A 2018 Ferrari FXX K Evo sold for a new model record €6,980,000 ($8,522,580) as the second most expensive car in the Gooding Christie’s Paris 2026 sale.
A 2008 Ferrari FXX Evo sold for €4,448,750 ($5,431,924) — it is only the second FXX Evo to achieve above $5 million at auction. Only the 2006 Ferrari FXX, which sold for $6,325,000 at Mecum Kissimmee earlier in the month, had achieved more.
Both of these track-only, single-owner hypercars were finished in Nero over a Nero Alcantara interior. Only around 40 FKK K Evos were built, while the earlier FXX Evos are even more exclusive, with only around 30 produced.
2021 Ferrari Monza SP1
The single-owner 2021 Ferrari Monza SP1 sold for €2,480,000 ($3,028,080). This unique homage to the great sports racers of the 1950s was sold nearly as delivered with only 215 km on the clock.

Although the classic 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta (highest bid €6.7 million) and the 1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider (highest bid €4.8 million) failed to sell, Gooding Christie’s had several good results on more traditional classic cars too:
The 1938 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS Teardrop Coupe sold for €6,755,000 ($8,247,855), one of the highest prices ever paid for these elegant pre-war cars.
The 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Atalante achieved €2,255,000 ($2,753,355).
