The top sale results at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 classic car auction were for a white 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO and a yellow 2003 Ferrari Enzo.

The top result at the 2026 Mecum Kissimee sale in Florida was, as expected, the unique white 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO “Bianco Speciale”, which sold for $38,500,000. Even more exceptional results were achieved on the mostly yellow Ferraris from the Bachman collection: new model records achieved included $17,875,00 for a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, $12 million for a 1995 Ferrari F50, and $11 million for a 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. A further 2003 Ferrari Enzo sold for $11 illion while a 1966 Ford GT40 MkII Factory Lightweight achieved over $12 million. More than 50 cars sold for over a million dollars in the Mecum sale.
Mecum Kissimmee Sale 2026

Mecum’s Kissimmee 2026 collector car auction: 6 to 18 January 2026 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, USA. Over 4,000 cars, motorcycles, and items of art and memorabilia are on sale.
While most other classic auctioneers are still preparing for the annual Scottsdale and Arizona sales at the end of January, Mecum is already selling and earning at the gigantic Kissimmee auction in Florida, USA.
Results in 2025, as recorded by Hagerty, reached $224M in total sales (down about three percent from 2024), an average price of $67,290 ($79,554), and a sell-through rate of 74 percent (up from 70 percent), although the sell-through rate for $1M-plus vehicles was down notably from 58 percent in 2024 to 32 percent in 2025.

Ten Million-Dollar Car Results at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 Auction
1962 Ferrari 250 GTO “Bianco Speciale”

The unique white 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO “Bianco Speciale”, chassis 3729GT, sold for $38,500,000 as the most expensive car at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 collector car auction. The result was probably slightly disappointing — when the only 250 GTO delivered by the factory finished in white was announced for the Mecum auction in 2025, there was talk of a result above $50 million, but an official estimate was not released.
It is the highest result ever achieved at a Mecum auction. The previous Mecum record was $17,875,000 paid earlier on the same day for the 2003 Ferrari Enzo and for the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider sold at the Mecum Kissimmee auction in 2024.
The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO “Bianco Speciale”, chassis 3729GT, was originally owned by John Cooms, a prominent British racing team owner, and raced in period by, amongst others, Graham Hill, Mike Parkes, and Jack Sears. It achieved numerous second places overall and some class wins.
This Biance Speciale was owned from 1970 to 1999 by racing driver Jack Sears and since formed part of the Jon Shirly Collection.
The GTO has been raced, repaired, maintained, and refinished, but never fully restored. It is thus considered a highly original car.

Ferrari 250 GTO Prices at Public Auctions (2014-2026)
Only four Ferrari 250 GTOs have been offered at public auction since 2014, and three took the title of the most expensive Ferrari ever at the time of sale.

More $10-Million Ferrari Results at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 Sale

The Mecum Kissimmee 2026 sale will forever be remembered for the large number of high-end Ferraris that were on offer in addition to the white GTO. Some of these results were even more stunning than the GTO price.
Most of the top Ferraris, many finished in yellow, were from the Michael Bachman collection and were offered without reserve. Some stunning results were achieved, and it is hard to find a million-dollar result among the group that failed to set a new model record. Some results were so high, it is hard to imagine the buyer ever getting near the same result in the future.
The following Ferraris sold for over $10 million each — all setting new model records far above the previous highest prices:
2003 Ferrari Enzo — Model Record

The 2003 Ferrari Enzo from the Bachman Collection sold for an incredible $17,875,000 — it more than tripled the existing Enzo model record. At the time of sale, it was the joint-most-expensive car ever sold in a Mecum auction — the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider sold at the Mecum Kissimmee 2024, and the most expensive car sold at auction in 2024.
The 2003 Ferrari Enzi was one of 400 produced, of which 127 were in US specification. It is one of 36 with Giallo Modena DS 4305 yellow paint work, of which only 11 were delivered to the USA.
The record Enzo is one of the few customized by the Ferrari factory and is considered the most heavily optioned Enzo ever ordered. Phil Bachman even screwed on a few parts in person while watching the car being produced. It was sold with only 645 miles on the clock. A very special car, but an incredible result.
1995 Ferrari F50 – Model Record

The Bachman 1995 Ferrari F50 sold for a new model record $12,210,000 at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 classic car auction. Somewhat ironically, this as-new Ferrari F50 was red rather than Bachman’s beloved yellow and took the model record from the ex-Ralph Lauren, one-of-only-two yellow 1995 Ferrari F50s that achieved $9,245,000 at the RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2025 sale. The previous F50 model record was $5,532,500 paid for a 1996 Ferrari F50 at the RM Sotheby’s Moda Miami 2025 classic car auction.
Bachman bought the Rosso Corsa 1995 Ferrari F50 from the collection of professional golfer Ian Poulter. It was the 65th of 349 F50s produced and the 28th of the 56 built for the US market. It was sold with only 251 miles on the clock.
2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta — Model Record

The 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta sold for a new model record $11,000,000 at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 auction. It took the model record from a 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta that sold for €8,300,000 ($10,043,000) at the RM Sotheby’s Ferrari Maranello auction in 2017 on behalf of Ferrari as a donation to Save the Children. Apart from these two LaFerraris, only two other Apertas have ever sold for more than $5 million at public live auctions.
This yellow LaFerrari Aperta was one of 210 produced. Like most of the Bachman Ferraris, it was extremely highly specified with numerous expensive options. The Giallo Triplo paintwork was finished with a thin Italian flag stripe. It was sold with only 96 miles on the clock.
Most of the Ferraris from the Bachman Collection come with exceptionally low mileage. However, note the 2,318-km FXX. Phil Bachman was one of the most active FXX drivers, participating in 22 FXX Programme events from 2006 to 2011 at 16 tracks on four continents.
Rosso Dino 2003 Ferrari Enzo

The 2003 Ferrari Enzo sold for $11,110,00 would have set a new model record if it had been offered earlier in the day before the yellow Bachman collection was offered (but at that time, no one knew Enzos had suddenly become $10 million plus cars).
This Enzo was the only one produced in Rosso Dino (orangy-red) and was sold with 3,746 miles on the clock. It is one of 400 produced, of which 127 were in US specification. It did not seem to have any other specific attraction that set it apart from other Enzos to justify this high price.
Ford GT40s at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 Sale

Ford GT40s are rare and expensive, so it is somewhat surprising that three quite different versions were for sale at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 classic car auction:
1966 Ford GT40 MkII Factory Lightweight
The 1966 Ford GT40 MkII Factory Lightweight, chassis XGT-3, sold for $12,375,000 at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 auction. It was the first car to achieve over $10 million at public auction in 2026, and only the third Ford to do so. The Ford marque record remains $13,205,000 paid at the RM Sotheby’s Moda Miami 2025 sale for a 1966 Ford GT40 Mk II, chassis P/1032. (This more expensive GT40 participated in the 1966 Le Mans 24 Hours race and finished second at the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring Race.)
This GT40 was one of three factory lightweights and one of 11 Mk II cars produced. It is considered the most original survivor, at least in part due to never being raced. This GT40 was owned by Ford until 1977 and had only four private owners prior to the Mecum 2026 sale.
The other two Ford GT40s offered in the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 auction failed to sell:
- 1965 Ford GT40 Mk 1, P/1018 — one of 48 race coupes produced and one of only two known to have been driven by Carroll Shelby (at the opening of the Santa Monica highway rather than in a race). It was expected to sell for around $6 million but a highest bid of $5,300,000 failed to buy the car.
- 1969 Ford GT40 MkIII, P1/1085 — believed to be the final of the 13 unfinished GT40 chassis to be finished. The original rolling chassis was in storage and was only completed in 2009. It is eligible for vintage racing events. It failed to sell with the highest bid of $2.2 million not accepted.
Top Porsche 918 Results at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 Auction

Four 2015 Porsche 918 Spyders were on offer at the Kissimmee Mecum 2026 auction — all four were fitted with the Weissach option:
One of the top crazy results at the Mecum Kissimmee 2026 sale was the $6,050,000 paid for the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach with paint-to-sample Pure Orange bodywork. The matching interior piping is similarly orange rather than the conventional green. Neither the color scheme nor the not-particularly-low 845 miles explained the high result.
The 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach in Martini livery, 641 miles, sold for a very strong $3,575,000, which is more normal for a very good 918 example.
The other two Porsche 918s failed to sell:
- 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach — Grey Black, 13,594 miles — NOT SOLD with the highest bid of $2,500,000.
- 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach — White Salzburg livery, 1,621 miles — NOT SOLD with the highest bid of $2,700,000.
Top Shelby Cobra Results
Numerous Shelby Cobras were on offer at Mecum Kissimmee 2026.
The top result was $3,300,000 paid for the 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra. It was the final of 32 factory “narrow hip” 427 Cobras and the first one offered at public auction for almost 15 years.
The 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra Roadster, CSX3218, sold for $1,540,000, while the 1967 Shelby 427 Cobra Roadster, CSX3350, sold for $1,210,000.
Several further Cobras failed to sell despite the highest bids exceeding a million dollars.
American Muscle Cars
Mecum Kissimmee auctions are usually a good place to sell American muscle cars, but these were overshadowed by modern hypercars, especially Ferraris in 2026. However, some top American muscle car results included:
- $3,300,000 paid for a 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible — one of five automatic versions.
- $1,815,000 paid for the 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro Prototype — the first pilot test car.
- $1,100,000 paid for a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Baldwin Motion LS7.
- $852,500 paid for a 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Nova — one of 38.
