The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2023 auction is scheduled for January 21 to 29, 2023, at Westworld of Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
In 2023, Barrett-Jackson earned $184.2 million from selling 1907 cars and $6.41 million from automobilia. Barrett-Jackson also raised $1.89 million for charity from five cars to surpass the $150 million milestone for funds raised for charity to date.
In 2022, Barrett-Jackson earned around $195.9 million with a 100% sell-through rate on 1,841 cars and $7.3 million on 1,153 pieces of automobilia for a total of over $203.2 million. Additionally, Barrett-Jackson raised $8.8 million on ten charity lots.
In 2021, Barrett-Jackson sold in total, 1,054 vehicles for over $95 million and $5.8 million was raised through the sale of charity vehicles.
The 2020 Scottsdale Auction was the largest-ever auction held by Barrett-Jackson and its most successful. Over 1,900 Resto-Mods, classics, and supercars sold for more than $129.7 million, and over 1,200 pieces of automobilia brought in well over $3.7 million. The sale of nine charity vehicles – including the first-ever C8 Corvette – raised $7.65 million for great causes.

Going into the 2023 Scottsdale, Arizona, auction, Barrett-Jackson had already raised over $149 million for charity at numerous auctions with the generous support of carmakers and above all buyers and donors. This figure is sure to increase in 2023 with several high-profile charity lots offered with no reserve and one hundred percent of the hammer price from the sale of these vehicles going directly to the charitable organizations, with all auction fees waived.
One of the highly-anticipated charity cars is a daily-driven 2015 Corvette Stingray (Lot #3003) that belonged to late General Colin L. Powell, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and U.S. Secretary of State. 100% of the hammer price will benefit America’s Promise Alliance, which General Powell founded and chaired for decades to help America’s youth. America’s Promise Alliance is a large cross-sector alliance of nonprofit, community organizations, businesses, and government organizations dedicated to improving the lives of young people.
Ford has a long history of donating VIN 001 vehicles for charity at Barrett-Jackson, and they’ll be bringing one of the industry’s most highly anticipated releases to the 2023 Scottsdale Auction ‒ VIN 001 of the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang GT (Lot #3004) to benefit JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
A 2022 Shelby Super Snake (Lot #3000) that has been customized by Count’s Kustoms will be offered to benefit Camp Freedom. The benefiting organization is an adventure camp for disabled veterans and first responders, their family members and Gold Star families, providing quality outdoor activities that move individuals from clinical settings into the healing environment of the outdoors and nature.
A 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning 4×4 Super Crew Fighter Country Edition pickup (Lot #3001) that has been fully equipped with the Platinum Lightning Series package. The sale of this truck will benefit the Fighter Country Foundation, which aims to support the men, women and families of Luke Air Force Base by enhancing the morale and well-being, culture and tradition, and sustainability of Luke AFB in Arizona.
Another first-production vehicle for a good cause is VIN 001 of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV (Lot #3002), a follow-up to the EV1 Hummer Pickup on the road. The sale of the VIN 001 Hummer EV SUV will benefit Tread Lightly!, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote responsible recreation through stewardship, education, and communication.
