A 1996 Ferrari F50, 2003 Ferrari Enzo, and a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT are on offer at the Mecum Monterey 2026 collector car auction.

Mecum traditionally has the largest docket of all the auction houses with sales at the annual Monterey Car Week in California, USA. Some of the highlights already announced for the collector car auction include a yellow 1996 Ferrari F50 and a red 2003 Ferrari Enzo. The 2005 Porsche Carrera GT is offered with a non-standard finish, while the 2004 Gemballa Mirage GT is a rare conversion of the same model.

Hypercars on Sale at Mecum Monterey 2026

Some of the hypercars already listed for sale at the Mecum Monterey 2026 collector car auction include:
1996 Ferrari F50
The 1996 Ferrari F50 on offer at Mecum Monterey 2026 was the 239th of 349 produced and originally delivered in Switzerland. It is one of 31 finished in yellow Giallo Modena. (Only two of the 55 US-specification F50s were finished in yellow, including, famously, the ex-Ralph Lauren car that sold for a then-model record $9,245,000 at RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2025.)
Details are still limited, but this yellow 1996 Ferrari F50 was imported into the USA. It currently displays 7,248 km (~4,500 miles).

Only five Ferrari F50s have ever sold for more than $6 million at public auction — three of these were in January 2026.
Next Ferrari F50 to test the market: at Monterey 2026 auctions: RM Sotheby’s and Mecum.
2003 Ferrari Enzo
The 2003 Ferrari Enzo at Mecum Monterey 2026 is in the standard Rosso Corsa with Nero leather interior. It shows only 589 miles.
This Enzo was a no-sale at Mecum Monterey 2017 with a highest bid of $2,700,000. At the time, the odometer reading was 151 miles.
No presale estimate was released, but the 9,834-mile Enzo at RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2026 has an estimate of $6,750,000 to $7,500,000. It is unlikely that such money would secure the Enzo at Mecum.

In 2015, a 2005 Ferrari Enzo (originally owned by the Pope) sold for a model record of $6 million. It took eleven years for the second Enzo result to exceed $5 million, and then it happened four times in one month in January 2026.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT
The 2005 Porsche Carrera GT at Mecum Monterey 2026 is one of the 644 produced for the US market and shows 3,471 miles. This Carrera GT recently received “a concours-quality paint job to beyond factory standards, implementing modern technologies and industry knowledge”. It will be interesting to see how the market judges the bespoke PPG Rosso Fuoco finish — this fire red is more often associated with Ferrari.
Four of the six Porsche Carrera GTs sold at auction thus far in 2026 achieved over $3 million.
Top Porsche Carrera GT Prices at Public Auction (2004-2026)

2004 Gemballa Mirage GT
The 2004 Gemballa Mirage GT was the 24th of 25 created from existing Porsche Carrera GT cars. It is finished in Lime Rock Gray Metallic with a slate gray interior. The Mirage has only covered 100 miles since the conversion.
The Gemballa Mirage GT has a very limited auction price record, which is not surprising given the scarcity of the car. Bonhams sold one in Switzerland (Bonmont 2020) for CHF669,300, while another one failed to sell at RM Sotheby’s Paris 2020. The result and guidance at the time were not much above standard Carrera GT prices.
